This is the old Intelligence schoolhouse at what used to be Ft. Devens, MA. These beautiful old buildings were the victims of BRAC. They were given to the state of Mass, and were just left to rot. I had been through this schoolhouse twice, once early in 1982 and again in 1990. It is sad to see what has become of the place.

Zingst, Germany, 54°26'20"N 12°41'20"E is a beautiful little resort town on the Baltic Sea where we spent a week this summer with my mother-in-law. I'll be posting more photos from our trip here later.

Woo hoo! My new Nikon SB-900 Speedlight came in last night! I was thinking I should get a new camera bag, since my Domke F-8 is really too small for anything more than my D80 and one lens. With the size of this flash unit and the new lens I want to get however, it looks like I will just evict my F3 and FM2 and re-use my old Domke F-1 bag. Those things last forever anyway.
